A global asset management firm is seeking a credit analyst familiar with municipal bonds and other non-corporate bonds.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to leave the rat race and cost of a huge city to move to a city in the mid-west where real estate is affordable and the quality of life is excellent.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Perform credit research and analysis of financial instruments such as municipal and other non-corporate bonds

·        Interact with portfolio management division

·        Utilize and maintain various models to provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of sectors and issuers

Background Requirements:

·        MUST HAVE strong background in credit analysis in asset management industry

·        MUST HAVE analyst experience in fixed income products

·        Strong quantitative, analytical and modeling skills

·        BS/BA required

·        CFA or MBA a big plus
